The Lioco Savaria Vineyard Pinot Noir 2012 shows its sense of place. Coastal influences, where vines benefit from ocean breezes and fog are part of what gives this Pinot Noir a bright and nimble countenance. Perfumy, delicate aromas of lavender, raspberry and black cherry, high elevation pine forest tinged with dried herbs. Medium-bodied, and slightly restrained, it’s especially well-balanced. I love the interplay of fruit, acidity, earth and crushed limestone on the palate. 13.6% ABV | Sample
