The 2013 Angelicall from one of Oregon’s few cult producers, Antica Terra and is crafted using unconventional methods, including a week-long maceration on the skins and twelve months aging on the lees. While still translucent and ruby-hued, it shows astonishing, almost brooding concentration and insanely intense aromatics, evoking pastoral images of the forest—salmon berries still on the vine, underbrush and tatty climbing roses.
