Beautifully developed, this is the oldest vintage of J.K. Carriere I’ve had the pleasure of tasting. Blackberries, black cherry and spice. Hibiscus and incense. Still vibrant and entirely elegant with good concentration of flavor nicely balanced against a defined acid backbone. Tart red spiced apple rings and black tea on a generous finish. I have come to really appreciate this producer over the past two years and this bottle further cements my positive opinion.
