The 2012 Joel Gott 815 Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 is part of my value series of reviews. 100% Cabernet, the fruit for this blend was sourced from no less than five different California appellations, of which, 25% of the blend has been aged in new American oak. As friendly as the neighborhood golden retriever, it offers up plump blueberries and blackberries, cola, and vanilla. There are no hard edges in this wine, it’s soft and plush, with a pinch of cinnamon bark on the finish. Great for informal gatherings. 13.9% ABV | Sample
