The 2018 Lange River Run Cuvée was slightly closed when I last reviewed it, I’m pleased to report that it’s showing beautifully now and will only continue to improve in time. Sporting a seductive floral edge, it opens with aromas of pie cherry, raspberry coulis, rose petal, violet, underbrush, and lichen. Tons of finesse on the palate, and neatly framed with structured, ultra-fine tannins, it builds slowly and finishes with re-emerging florality, cedar, and a dusting of iron-tinged minerality. 13.9% ABV | Sample
As I always mention with the reviews for this winery, I am employed by Lange Estate.
